How do I connect to other Electrum Servers?

You can connect to any Electrum Server of your choice.

Bitkit defaults to our own Electrum server. The default params are as follows:

ELECTRUM_BITCOIN_HOST=35.187.18.233

ELECTRUM_BITCOIN_SSL_PORT=8900

ELECTRUM_BITCOIN_TCP_PORT=8911

ELECTRUM_BITCOIN_PROTO=ssl

If your Electrum Server is Tor-only, you'll need to connect via a local network or through software like IP2TOR, ZeroTier, Tailscale, or WireGuard. Remember, Bitkit can only connect to an Electrum Server, not directly with the Bitcoin Core RPC.
